In 1975, JB Helmuth established JBH Inc. with sandblasting and painting as the primary offerings. The company expanded into the refurbishment of fire trucks and ambulances five years later. The reputation of the company continued to build, and by 1983, JBH Inc. was painting and flooring flatbeds for a nearby OEM. Eventually, the installation of refrigeration equipment and lift gates was added to the comprehensive services provided by one of the most respected names in the industry. During the mid-nineties JBH turned their focus to designing and building very special-use, non-standard trailers, which are not friendly to the OEM's.

JBH Inc. prides itself on its reputation as a very progressive company. The 21st century has seen the addition of computer-control fabrication equipment, the expansion of the JBH evaporator guard offering, and several new specialty trailer designs. JBH continues to be the largest installer of lift gates on semi trailers, all lift gate manufactures. Modern test equipment and the experience to design and install approved under ride guards on all lift gates are just two of the strengths of the company.

JBH continues to install refrigeration equipment. Our specialty is remote evap install and JBH
evaporator guard design and install. JBH-designed pallet stops and heavy-duty bulkheads are the finest in the industry. The JBH heavy-duty dock bumpers for tuck-under gates rank among the strongest in the market. Your modifications and additions to your semi trailers are bead blasted in our new state-of-the-art 60 foot long self contained blast room and painted in one of our two paint booths.
